SF Mayor Makes Sure Staff Get a Glimpse of Public Housing

When San Francisco Mayor London Breed unveiled her $12 billion budget proposal on Friday, she chose an unusual venue: the Sunnydale public housing development. 

Some city staffers looked a little lost arriving in Sunnydale where, they learned, the average life expectancy is 14 years shorter than in Russian Hill. Breed called it a world apart.
